Walnut24 Design Contest


The Third Annual Walnut24 fundraiser is Saturday, Sept 29. When the students get back in August, we want to start promoting immediately.

We have always held a contest and asked students to create a design that will be used for posters, t-shirts and other branding for the fundraising event. The student who submits the winning design will receive a copy of the shirt and poster for their portfolio and a $50 prize.
You don’t have to be an artist. Submissions don’t have to be elaborate. We have a graphic designer that will clean up any design idea submitted to get it ready for print.

Criteria for designs:
  • Can be submitted as a hardcopy or an electronic file (.jpg, .png or .eps formats)
  • 12”x12” max size if hardcopy
  • Two colors (shirt can be third color)
  • Text on the design is optional
  • Must be original work, not taken from the Internet
  • Theme: Walnut24. 24 games in 12 hours. (note: we’ve dropped the “walkathon” as part of the name and gone with more of a ‘field day’ format for the event)
  • Note: the event is not 24 hours long this year, it will run for 12 hours.

Submit your designs
Hardcopies should be mailed or dropped of at the school office. Electronic files should be emailed to 24@walnut24.com.
All submissions are due by Friday, Aug 17 at noon. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email. Winning entry will be announced after school resumes.
